MANIFESTO (EM PORTUGUÊS)
O presente manifesto se circunscreve aos princípios da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos, aprovada pela Assembleia Geral da ONU, no dia 10 de dezembro de 1948.
O Movimento Mulheres Regentes foi fundado em 2016, com a finalidade de criar um espaço permanente de reflexão sobre a atuação das mulheres na música, assim como promover e implementar mecanismos para eliminar discriminações e injustiças históricas.
No decorrer do III Simpósio Internacional Mulheres Regentes – realizado em formato virtual, entre 15 e 20 de setembro de 2020 –, contando com 976 participantes de 36 países (regentes, compositoras, musicólogas, produtoras e gestoras de América, Europa e Ásia), diagnosticou-se uma profunda desigualdade entre a quantidade de homens, mulheres e diversidades que ocupam postos de direção de organismos musicais, assim como em suas programações artísticas.
Sendo assim, declaramos que:
1. REIVINDICAMOS O ACESSO A ESPAÇOS E POSTOS HISTORICAMENTE NEGADOS ÀS MULHERES NA MÚSICA, PARTICULARMENTE ÀS REGENTES E ÀS COMPOSITORAS;
2. DENUNCIAMOS A INVISIBILIZAÇÃO DO TRABALHO DAS MULHERES NA MÚSICA, PARTICULARMENTE DAS REGENTES E DAS COMPOSITORAS;
3. RECHAÇAMOS QUALQUER AÇÃO DISCRIMINATÓRIA E, SOBRETUDO, REPUDIAMOS TODA E QUALQUER FORMA DE ASSÉDIO;
4. INSTAMOS QUE SEJAM ESTABELECIDAS LEGISLAÇÕES QUE CONTEMPLEM AS DEMANDAS DE VALORIZAÇÃO, PROTEÇÃO E ISONOMIA, PROMOVENDO IGUALDADE DE OPORTUNIDADES E CONDIÇÕES DE TRABALHO PARA AS MULHERES REGENTES, ASSIM COMO PARA TODAS AS DEMAIS PROFISSIONAIS NA MÚSICA;
5. SOLICITAMOS QUE SEJAM IMPLEMENTADAS POLÍTICAS QUE GARANTAM A EDUCAÇÃO E O DESENVOLVIMENTO MUSICAL DE MENINAS E JOVENS.
O MOVIMENTO CONCLAMA O APOIO E O COMPROMISSO DAS CLASSES POLÍTICAS E DOS RESPONSÁVEIS PELAS DIVERSAS INSTITUIÇÕES CULTURAIS, PARA QUE SE EFETIVEM AS PROPOSTAS RESULTANTES DO MANIFESTO.
MANIFIESTO (EN ESPAÑOL)
El presente manifiesto se circunscribe a los principios de la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos, aprobada por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas el 10 de diciembre de 1948.
El Movimiento Mulheres Regentes/ Mujeres Directoras/ Women Conductors fue fundado en 2016, con la finalidad de crear un espacio de permanente reflexión sobre la actuación de las mujeres en la música y promover la implementación de mecanismos para eliminar discriminaciones e injusticias históricas.
Finalizando el III Simposio Internacional Mujeres Directoras en formato virtual, realizado entre el 15 y el 20 de septiembre de 2020, contando con 976 participantes de 36 países, -Directoras, compositoras, musicólogas, productoras y gestoras de América, Europa y Asia-, diagnosticamos una inmensa inequidad entre puestos ocupados por hombres ,mujeres y diversidades en la dirección de organismos musicales y en los programas de conciertos.
Y, por tanto manifestamos que:
1. REIVINDICAMOS EL ACCESO A LOS ESPACIOS Y PUESTOS HISTÓRICAMENTE NEGADOS A LAS MUJERES EN LA MÚSICA, PARTICULARMENTE A LAS DIRECTORAS Y A LAS COMPOSITORAS;
2. DENUNCIAMOS LA INVISIBILIZACIÓN DEL TRABAJO DE LAS MUJERES EN LA MÚSICA, PARTICULARMENTE DE LAS DIRECTORAS Y DE LAS COMPOSITORAS;
3. RECHAZAMOS CUALQUIER ACCIÓN DISCRIMINATORIA Y, SOBRE TODO, REPUDIAMOS TODA FORMA DE ACOSO;
4. INSTAMOS A QUE SE ESTABLEZCAN LEGISLACIONES QUE CONTEMPLEN LAS DEMANDAS DE VALORIAZACIÓN, PROTECCIÓN E ISONOMÍA, PROMOVIENDO IGUALDAD DE OPORTUNIDADES Y CONDICIONES DE TRABAJO PARA LAS MUJERES DIRECTORAS, ASÍ COMO PARA TODAS LAS DEMAS PROFESIONALES DE LA MÚSICA.
5. SOLICITAMOS QUE SE IMPLEMENTEN POLÍTICAS QUE GARANTICEN LA EDUCACIÓN Y EL DESAROLLO MUSICAL DE NIÑAS Y JÓVENES;
EL MOVIMIENTO SOLICITA EL APOYO Y COMPROMISO DE LAS CLASES POLÍTICAS Y RESPONSABLES DE LAS DIVERSAS INSTITUCIONES CULTURALES PARA QUE SE EFECTIVICEN LAS PROPUESTAS RESULTANTES DEL MANIFIESTO.

The historic Declaration approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations, on the 10th of December of 1948, reaffirms that “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights” and that “every person has all the rights and liberties proclaimed in this Declaration, without any distinction of race, color, gender, age, ethnicity, language, religion, [...] birth, or any other condition.”
The Movement Women Conductors was created in 2016, with the intention of creating a space of permanent reflection over the proceedings of women in music, and of promoting the implementation of mechanisms to eliminate historic discriminations and injustices.
While finalizing the III International Symposium of Women Conductors, which took place in an online format between September 15th and 20th of 2020 and included a total of 976 participants from 36 nations, the participants of the event—conductors, directors, composers, musicologists, producers, and administrators of the Americas, Europe, and Asia—diagnosed an immense inequity between positions occupied by men and women & diversities as regards both musical customs and concert programs.
And, therefore, we declare that:
1 - WE RECLAIM ACCESS TO THE SPACES AND POSITIONS HISTORICALLY DENIED TO WOMEN IN MUSIC, PARTICULARLY TO CONDUCTORS AND COMPOSERS;
2 - WE DENOUNCE THE INVISIBILITY OF THE WORK OF WOMEN IN MUSIC, ESPECIALLY THAT OF CONDUCTORS AND COMPOSERS;
3 - WE REJECT ANY DISCRIMINATORY ACTION AND, ABOVE ALL, WE REPUDIATE ANY AND ALL FORMS OF ABUSIVE OR HARRASING BEHAVIOR;
4 - WE PETITION AND URGE THAT CONCRETE LEGISLATION BE ESTABLISHED THAT WOULD PROMOTE THE EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITIES AND CONDITIONS OF WORK FOR WOMEN IN MUSIC, PARTICULARLY FOR CONDUCTORS AND COMPOSERS;
5 - WE REQUEST THAT POLICIES BE IMPLEMENTED THAT WOULD GUARANTEE THE EDUCATION AND MUSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF GIRLS AND BOYS;
OUR MOVEMENT REQUESTS THE HELP AND COMMITMENT OF RESPONSIBLE POLITICAL CLASSES OF DIVERSE CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS TO IMPLEMENT THE PROPOSALS OF THIS MANIFESTO.

Ce manifeste s’inscrit dans les principes de la Déclaration Universelle des droits de l’homme approuvée par l’Assemblée Générale des Nations Unies, le 10 décembre 1948, et réaffirme que « Tous les êtres humains naissent libres et égaux en dignité et en droits et que chacun peut se prévaloir de tous les droits et de toutes les libertés proclamés dans la présente Déclaration sans distinction aucune, notamment de race, de couleur, de sexe, de langue, de religion, d’opinion politique ou de toute opinion, d ;origine nationale ou sociale, de fortune, de naissance ou de toute autre situation. »
Le mouvement des Femmes cheffes d’orchestres a été fondé en 2016, dans le but de créer un espace de réflexion permanente sur la place des femmes dans la musique et de promouvoir la mise en place de mesures non discriminatoires.
Concluant le troisième Symposium International des cheffes d’orchestres qui s'est déroulé de forme virtuelle entre le 15 et le 20 septembre 2020 avec 976 participantes de 36 pays, - cheffes d’orchestre, compositrices, musicologues, productrices d’Amérique, Europe et Asie- nous avons diagnostiqué une immense inégalité entre les postes occupés par les hommes, femmes et minorités au sein des organismes musicaux et dans les programmations de concerts.
Et, pour cela :
1. NOUS REVENDIQUONS L'ACCÈS AUX ESPACES ET POSTES HISTORIQUEMENT REFUSÉS AUX FEMMES DANS LA MUSIQUE EN PARTICULIER AUX CHEFFES D’ORCHESTRE ET COMPOSITRICES ;
2. NOUS DÉNONÇONS L'INVISIBILITÉ DU TRAVAIL DES FEMMES DANS LA MUSIQUE EN PARTICULIER DES CHEFFES D’ORCHESTRE ET COMPOSITRICES ;
3. NOUS CONDAMNONS TOUTE ACTION DISCRIMINATOIRE ET NOUS REFUSONS TOUTE FORME D’ABUS ET DE HARCÈLEMENT ;
4. NOUS DEMANDONS INSTAMMENT LA MISE EN PLACE D'UNE LÉGISLATION QUI RÉPONDE AUX EXIGENCES DE VALORISATION, DE PROTECTION ET D'ISONOMIE, EN FAVORISANT L'ÉGALITÉ DES CHANCES ET DES CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL POUR LES CHEFFES D'ORCHESTRE AINSI QUE POUR TOUTES LES PROFESSIONNELLES DE LA MUSIQUE.
5. NOUS SOLLICITONS LA MISE EN ŒUVRE DE POLITIQUES QUI PUISSENT GARANTIR
L'ÉDUCATION ET LE DÉVELOPPEMENT MUSICAL DES FILLES ET JEUNES EN GÉNÉRAL ;
Le mouvement sollicite l’appui et l’engagement de la classe politique et des responsables des différentes institutions culturelles afin que s’appliquent les propositions résultant de ce manifeste.
